The Public Sector Data and GDPR Summit

13 March 2018

Thank you if you came to see us at The Public Sector Data and GDPR Summit, at the Victoria Park Plaza, London.

This was the first annual Public Sector Data & GDPR Summit, which took place on 13th March 2018. We analysed and evaluated the implementation, innovations and opportunities that GDPR, in conjunction with the UK’s new Data Protection Bill, present to public services.

Central government department heads and leaders from local government, along with NHS innovators and other technical suppliers who have a vested interested in the impact of GDPR, like us, came together for one day to uncover the future of data processing and data compliance in a post Brexit United Kingdom.

The summit ignited debate and discussions on citizen’s rights, interdepartmental data sharing, and security, improving end-user experience and protection in the post GDPR digital age.

J's crowd selfie at Public Sector Data & GDPR Summit 2018J Cromack took a seminar entitled – GDPR Pragmatism: Looking back vs Looking forward (and obtained consent for a crowd selfie!).

Adam and Aidan met a lot of interesting people on stand 17.
